At IGB, we believe short, meaningful experiences can spark lifelong growth. Our summer program is designed to develop well-rounded young people through a balance of hands-on learning, emotional support, and unforgettable experiences β€” all guided by licensed educators and professionals.

2025 Dates: June 9th – August 1st (closed July 4th)

Hours of operation: M-F 8am-5pmΒ 

Cost: $175 per week, with multiple child discount available.

What We Offer

Daily Programming Includes:

  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
    Interactive challenges and activities that help youth develop decision-making and reasoning skills.

  • Communication Skills
    Focus on interpersonal skills, self-advocacy, and conflict resolution to foster strong, respectful relationships.

  • Financial Literacy
    Age-appropriate lessons on money concepts to build a foundation for responsible decision-making.

  • Emotional Wellness
    One-on-one mentoring, group counseling, and a structured wellness curriculum to support mental and emotional growth.

  • Creative & Social Activities
    Arts & crafts, board games, and collaborative play to encourage imagination and social bonding.

  • Physical Activity
    Daily opportunities to move, play, and build healthy habits.

We believe in learning beyond the classroom. Each week, students will explore Gainesville’s rich cultural and historical offerings, including:

  • Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention

  • World Equestrian Center

  • Harn Museum of Art

  • Butterfly Rainforest

  • Dudley Farm Historic State Park

  • Devils Millhopper Geological State Park

  • Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo

  • Westside Recreation Center Pool

  • La Chua Trail
