Since 2007, IGB (I Gotcha Back) Education, a 501(c)3 organization, has been transforming lives in Alachua County through comprehensive youth development programs. Our flagship Mentoring Program at Eastside High School and Oak View Middle School provides students with one-on-one mentoring, group activities, educational field trips, and leadership development opportunities. Our mentoring program has achieved remarkable success through partnerships with Restoring Hope Counseling, local financial institutions, and PEAK Literacy, including improved graduation rates and enhanced academic performance.

Building on this foundation, we’ve launched the IGB Enrichment Program, a dynamic 12-week curriculum focused on four essential pillars: financial literacy, communication, emotional wellness, and critical thinking. This program, implemented through partnerships with the City of Gainesville, AIM (Aces in Motion), The Girls Place, and Willie Mae Stokes Community Center, engages students through weekly 50-minute sessions combining focused instruction with hands-on activities. 

Thanks to the generous support of the Children’s Trust of Alachua County, our Mentoring and Enrichment programs continue to expand their reach and impact. These comprehensive programs expose youth to mentors, motivational speakers, cultural events, outdoor activities, volunteer opportunities, and leadership development experiences.
